Dallas Conference Offers a Range of Possibilities to Learn and Network
This year, the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) is in the Lone Star State for the 2025 Annual Conference, October 19 through 22 at the Omni Hotel in Dallas. Over 500 lab owners, operators, designers, engineers, managers, builders, and developers will attend technical sessions, engage with vendors at the Technology Fair, network with peers, and tour laboratories demonstrating sustainable design and green labs principles in the Dallas area. During three days of technical sessions, over 100 U.S. and international speakers will present on decarbonization, sustainable science, sustainable design, and system optimization tracks. Register now to take advantage of the early bird rates!
For those who come early, I2SL will host optional pre-conference workshops on Sunday, October 19—two full-day sessions on lab ventilation management and an introductory course on sustainable lab design. A morning half-day session will walk attendees through the Lab Benchmarking Tool and Actionable Insights and Measures (AIM) Report software.
Throughout the conference, the Technology and Services Fair features a variety of vendors that address lab sustainability challenges, decarbonization, and energy efficiency technologies, systems, and services. Come meet our vendors and network with peers at the Opening Reception on Monday evening, October 20!
On Tuesday, October 21, I2SL and My Green Lab will recognize the Sustainable Lab Award and Freezer Challenge winners during an Awards Luncheon. The conference also offers two optional offsite tours: a first-hand look at AstraZeneca’s green labs program; and two LEED Gold certified buildings at the University of Texas at Dallas. Tour buses will leave the conference following the afternoon session, and each tour host will provide food and refreshments for attendees. If you are interested in a tour, register in advance before they sell out!
The conference location is the Omni Hotel in Dallas, where a discounted room rate is available for all attendees. Space is limited, so reserve your room now for the best rate. Any questions about the conference can be directed to info@i2sl.org. We look forward to seeing you in Dallas this fall!
