Actionable Insights and Measures (AIM) Report
The latest offering from I2SL’s Labs2Zero program, the AIM Report, is a software service that allows users to generate automated energy audits for lab buildings based on facility and utility data they enter in the I2SL Lab Benchmarking Tool. The AIM Report helps lab owners, facility managers, engineers, designers, and consultants to identify energy measures specific to their labs and calculate projected savings. By subscribing to the AIM Report software, users can create a tailored package of measures based on their budget priorities or savings goals, then can export reports in PDF format to share with other stakeholders. Subscribers can create reports for an unlimited number of lab buildings.

Why Use the AIM Report?
With the recent addition of global weather data, currencies, utility rates, and implementation costs, AIM allows lab owners around the world to generate energy audits for one facility or a whole portfolio of research buildings. There are several features that set the AIM Report apart from other energy auditing tools:
-
Accessibility to anyone—users don’t have to have extensive building expertise, and the building, equipment, and utility data needed is not complicated.
-
Quick results—no need to build energy models or conduct walk-throughs; the AIM Report software identifies proven lab energy-saving measures with a few clicks.
-
Unbiased analysis—the software makes assumptions based on experts’ industry knowledge and allows users to refine their inputs to get more accurate results.
-
A low-cost approach—subscribers can evaluate a whole portfolio of buildings for a fraction of the cost of just one onsite energy assessment.
-
Extra features—more than just a list of measures, the tool analyzes costs, energy savings, and return on investment for implementing each measure—as well as from bundling various measures—and provides case studies of each measure in action.

Try AIM for Free!
There is a “demo” version of the AIM Report software that allows anyone with a Lab Benchmarking Tool account to try all the features of the AIM Report, but it only allows users to see a limited number of energy conservation measures. To access over two dozen possible energy-saving measures, simply subscribe to the AIM Report on the LBT.
