I2SL’s Circular Economy for Labs Community of Practice (CoP) is hosting a showcase for students to

demonstrate the work they are doing to promote sustainable laboratory practices or processes at

campuses, companies, and other organizations.

 

Over a dozen students will give a brief, virtual talks during a special CoP showcase over Zoom April 17

from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Eastern. Each student will have five to seven minutes to talk about the work they

are doing, either through an internship or as a job, to make laboratories more energy-efficient, resource-

efficient, or environmentally sustainable. A winner will then be chosen to receive free registration and a

travel stipend to attend and present a full 20- to 25-minute session at the I2SL Annual Conference in Boston

September 14-16, 2026.​
