At the 2018 I2SL Annual Conference, Tom Smith moderated a panel of facility experts representing industry, academic and government facilities. The facility experts discussed their experiences implementing programs for operation and maintenance of high performance labs and critical workspaces. In this webinar, Tom will review the panelís discussion. He will focus on the issues faced by facility managers and how different types of organizations have addressed the need to ensure safe, efficient, and effective facilities.

After viewing this presentation, attendees will understand:

  1. How the design and operation of complex ventilation systems create difficult and unique management and maintenance requirements.
  2. A lab ventilation management program is required to manage modern high-performance lab ventilation systems.
  3. Specialized training is required to prepare maintenance and operations staff.
  4. How other facilities have addressed operations and maintenance needs.
