Advanced BIM for Facility Management and COBie Techniques
April 16, 2015
1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Eastern Daylight Time
The leading facility owners embrace building information modeling (BIM) and Construction-Operations Building information exchange (COBie) when handing over a new or newly renovated facility and for ongoing facility management. In this webinar, Igor Starkov of EcoDomus will share examples of lifecycle BIM implementations from building owners’ perspective.
The presenter will explain how to:
- Access three-dimensional (3D) BIM and work orders on mobile devices.
- Use BIM and building automation system integration to visualize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system issues in 3D.
- Set up reusable, COBie-compliant, preventive maintenance instructions per asset types.
- Assign asset types to subcontractors for partial COBie data entry and merging.
- Enforce COBie Quality Control.
- View the same assets in 3D BIM or laser scans online.
