Meet Your Energy Cost Savings Goals with Sub-Metering

March 21, 2012
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Eastern Daylight Time

Is your laboratory challenged by ever escalating utility bills, unmanageable energy cost allocations, or unscheduled equipment downtime as a result of power quality problems? There's help! This information-packed webinar taught participants how to efficiently manage the cost and quality of their energy through the intelligent design and use of utility sub-metering systems. In this webinar, participants learned to:

  • Build their business case for sub-metering a laboratory environment.
  • Identify and define the sub-metering applications needed for success.
  • Identify and team with the stakeholders involved in their sub-metering system.
  • Design a sub-metering system that meets their organizational objectives.

Best practices for sub-metering laboratories were also explored, along with a discussion on the "persistency of savings" that often eludes even the best system designs.
