Myths of Fume Hood Control

Fume hoods are the heart of laboratories with intensive chemical use. Their impact on user safety and HVAC energy has been well-documented. Evaluating fume hood control methodology can be a critical aspect of laboratory HVAC controls. This presentation will define key parameters of fume hood control performance and compare how different control methods meet these parameters.

Biography:

David Ruhland is a Product Manager for TSI. He has over 20 years of laboratory and healthcare HVAC experience, having worked on projects located on 5 of the 7 continents. Dave is also a member of ASHRAE.
