M. K. Plastics LeadLag Exhaust Fan Control System

M. K. Plastics pioneered the concept and commercial introduction of a laboratory exhaust fan control system, designed, assembled, and factory tested by the fan manufacturer more than ten years ago. The tested and proven, patent pending LeadLag™ system controls the exhaust fan(s) and damper(s) to:
- Satisfy system pressure, volume, or other system control parameter
- Control the operation of the redundant or standby fan
- Optimize system performance
- Save energy
- Interact with and report to the BMS
This demonstration will review the available features of our Leadlag system. And we will show an operational system on twin Axijet™ induced flow fans.
Lance Chen - Director of Engineering, M.K. Plastics Corp., a major manufacturer of corrosion resistant ventilation systems for critical service applications and currently celebrating its 50th year in business. Mr. Chen oversees the conception and production of all of M.K. Plastics products, and is also responsible for all research and development activity. He has recently developed the patent-pending K-Kore product line for M.K. Plastics, the first fiberglass-reinforced-plastic energy recovery system on the market today. Mr. Chen has been involved in major projects at laboratories, universities, hospitals, and water treatment plants all over the world where he has designed and commissioned many different ventilation systems and LeadLag control packages. Mr. Chen holds an Electrical Engineering degree from McGill University, where he specialized in automation control.
