Labs21 2008 Annual Conference Registration

 

Register for the Labs21 2008 Annual Conference Today!

 

Conference registration includes the following:

  • Admission to the opening plenary session, featuring a presentation by Dr. Marcia McNutt, the keynote speaker; technical sessions, poster presentations, symposia, and morning roundtables; as well as the Technology and Services Fair.
  • An Evening Reception in the exhibit hall that will showcase the 2008 Technology and Services Fair.
  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments each day of the event.

In addition, a number of new features have been incorporated into the 2008 agenda:

  • DataCenters21 will feature a completely parallel track of technical sessions discussing energy effici5ency in data centers.
  • A Labs21 luncheon on Thursday, September 18 featuring closing remarks from Dr. Chris Field as well as the presentation of I2SL's first annual Go Beyond Awards.

Attendees are responsible for paying for hotel accommodations and all other meals. Participation in pre-conference training sessions and tours will also be available to attendees at an additional cost.

*Attention Students: I2SL is offering all full-time students a discounted registration fee of $100 to attend the Labs21 2008 Annual Conference. Students will be contacted for proof of their full-time enrollment status in order to verify eligibility.

Additionally, the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA) is offering four scholarships to students in the San Jose area who are looking to have a career designing and building laboratories. The SEFA Scholarship, provided by the Mike Kloosterman Foundation, will cover attendance at the entire Labs21 Conference plus one full- or two half-day workshops and two tours. SEFA has also waived the registration fee for these students to attend the SEFA Fall Conference, which begins immediately following the close of the Labs21 Technology Fair and Services Fair on September 17. To apply for the SEFA scholarship, e-mail an essay describing your interest in the Labs21 Conference, along with proof of the your qualifications as a full-time student majoring in a field related to the design and construction of laboratories, to the Mike Kloosterman Foundation, c/o sefalabs@aol.com, no later than August 1, 2008.
